Training Program Schedule - 2022– 2023 DSBA presents “ Relational Somatic Psychotherapy: Attachment Issues: How Transference and Counter-Transference are Created.”
Bioenergetic Analysis is a holistic form of psychotherapy that works with a person's physical, emotional, and intellectual patterns as a means to foster the client's well-being and increased aliveness. Bioenergetic Analysis seeks to bring about the consciouse integration of mind and body, therefore, the focus is both on the psychological issues presented and the manifestation of these issues as shown in the individual's body, energy, and movement. Patterns of muscular tension reflect an individual's emotional history and include such things as early childhood relationships with caregivers, physical and emotional trauma, and the extent to which self development was possible.
This year we will focus on the developmental process, how transference and counter-transference develop as a result of unmet developmental needs. Attachment and sexuality are key issues in the differentiation of an individual.
